If you've ever given a shit about your world, yourself, your community, and/or your sound, congrats! You're an ecopunk!
As an organization, ecopunk combines elements from environmentalism, afrofuturism, cyberpunk, rock music, news reporting, and computer science to create a space like no other. All essays and articles found here within are written by myself or by those contribute to the cause. In this case, the 'cause' is protecting ourselves, our community, our planet, and our music.
[If you're looking to contribute, send me an email! Album reviews, articles on cyber security, book recommendations — any and all of this is welcome!]
Not all of the music/bands here are ecopunk by this definition, and that's okay. Enjoying music is one of the tenets of being an ecopunk, regardless of genre.
